The self-sealing printhead for HP Class ink cartridges ensures clean print results even after longer idle periods. By automatically closing when production pauses, it prevents dust ingress and ink drying. As soon as a photoelectric sensor detects the line starting up again, it moves the cartridge back into the print position and continues printing at high quality. Thanks to its special design, our Shutter printhead is optimized for pharmaceutical installations.

The NonStopPrinting printhead boosts system availability and reduces downtime by enabling uninterrupted printing during production. The unit consists of two printheads that alternate printing. An intelligent algorithm ensures the cartridges are always ready to use. If a cartridge needs to be replaced or cleaned, the second cartridge automatically prints all interim jobs. This eliminates the need to stop the line. By emptying first one cartridge and then the other, overall runtime until the next cartridge change is doubled. After the new or cleaned cartridge is inserted, the system automatically switches back to alternating printing. Two-color printing up to 25 mm print height is also possible with the NonStopPrinting printhead. With water- and solvent-based HP and LX Class inks, company logos or warning symbols can be applied quickly and contactlessly to absorbent and non-absorbent secondary packaging.

With IP65 protection and print heights up to 25 mm, integra Ultimate tackles demanding marking tasks. The patented printhead with HP cartridge technology enables automatic cleaning during operation and seals itself when idle. Each time the printhead is closed and opened, the nozzle plate is cleaned automatically. Thanks to this integrated cleaning, the printer is immediately ready to print after any pause, ensuring clean startup prints. Open time increases to over 72 hours depending on the ink; that means even after a production stop of several days, e.g., over a weekend, printing can resume immediately. The fully enclosed housing protects the printhead and ink cartridge especially effectively. This makes it ideal for dusty or humid production environments, such as wood processing or the food and beverage industry. The Markoprint integra Ultimate also excels in integrated systems, since in enclosed or hard-to-access installations the cartridges can remain in the printhead during downtime and do not need to be removed. Markoprint integra Ultimate increases and safeguards marking quality. It prints text, 1D barcodes, 2D codes, and graphics in high resolution and delivers brilliant results on products and packaging. It is also suitable for UV inks when smooth surfaces need to be printed.
