The Markoprint integra PP RAZR inkjet printer delivers particularly high-resolution labeling at 600 dpi. The piezo inkjet printer uses solvent inks that can be used for high-contrast labeling of both absorbent materials such as carton and non-absorbent, smooth surfaces such as metal and plastic. Two features ensure continuous production: cartridges can be changed without stopping and two separately controllable nozzle channels ensure redundancy.
The maximum print height of the printhead is 34 mm. As up to four printheads can be cascaded, the device can realise large character printing with a height of up to 136 mm, making it a real label alternative in logistics labeling, for example. However, small font heights of just 1.5 mm are also possible. The Markoprint integra PP RAZR prints text, 1D barcodes, 2D codes and graphics with sharp edges on products and packaging. It can print in different shades of grey on request. This is ensured by different adjustable waveforms. Incidentally, the Markoprint integra PP RAZR has an environmentally friendly permanent printhead that does not need to be replaced.
Using RFID chips mounted on the cartridges, the printer immediately recognises the respective ink type, automatically sets all the corresponding printing parameters and ensures that the correct inks are used. The RFID technology also makes it possible to check the ink level in real time so that the cartridge can be replaced in good time.
The integrated intermediate tank ensures that a cartridge can be changed even during ongoing production without interrupting operation. This keeps the printing process stable and reliable at all times, with no downtime. This solution significantly increases productivity since the change is quick and simple. At the same time, a continuous material flow is guaranteed, improving the overall efficiency of the system.
The Markoprint integra PP RAZR has two separate nozzle channels that can be controlled independently of each other. If nozzles fail, the second channel ensures a consistent, homogeneous print result. The labeling remains clearly legible.
The specially developed Coding Score makes it easier to select and configure Markoprint printing systems. The performance levels – PRINT, BASIC, ADVANCED, PRO, and ULTIMATE – are clearly defined, easy to compare, and vary depending on the system. This creates transparency in decision-making and ensures investment security in a marking solution that can be flexibly expanded at any time. New requirements for production, efficiency, or sustainability can be easily integrated, securing consistently powerful and economical processes.
The 7″ high-resolution HMI color touchscreen of integra Vivid provides a visual display of print jobs and the status of X1JET and PP Class printing systems. At a glance, you can see whether the printing system is operating, the cartridge ink levels, and the current print speed. The innovative swipe-based UI makes editing printer settings and changing print jobs directly on the display especially easy. With its IP52 rating, it is protected in dusty production environments and against dripping water.
The high-resolution OLED display provides visual representation of functions and settings for Markoprint inkjet printers in the X1JET series. Various printer settings can be checked and changed, and the current printer status is shown. In addition, different print images can be selected and populated with data. The start/stop buttons greatly simplify operation. With intuitive control, the printer can be activated and the label printed. The compact, robust system can be easily integrated into the production line thanks to its small footprint. A bracket allows placement on a table or mounting on a wall. Because the device supports hot plugging, it can be removed during operation and used on other compatible systems. The system starts automatically with the connected printing system. An iLOGIK rotary controller operates the HMI and is used to navigate the various menus. If the selected print image contains a variable field, an input option for the variable text appears after selecting the print job.
