Bluhm Weber Group: Two acquisitions strengthen the business

With the takeover of the company NoviQ by Weber Marking Systems SA in Belgium, in January 2020, the Bluhm Weber Group has gained sales reinforcement for the markets in the Benelux countries. In the course of this, a division specialized in coding was simultaneously created for Weber Marking Systems SA and Weber Marking Systems BV in the Netherlands. As NoviQ is already known as a competent coding specialist in the market, the new division is called NoviQ Coding.

In Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, Gerrie Vanwelde as Division Manager and David Sterken as Business Development Manager will take over the complete sales of Weber’s Markoprint inkjet printers with immediate effect. In the Netherlands, Arjen De Haas will additionally support them as Account Manager.

Vanwelde and Sterken already look back on years of experience in the coding sector. “We have worked with Weber Marking Systems in the past and are very familiar with the inkjet printers. We are delighted to be part of the team now,” says David Sterken.

And there was another acquisition: Last year, on November 1, Weber Marking Systems France S.A.S. took over the print-apply solutions of Sato in France. Sato France focuses on the well-known label printers and logistics solutions. With this acquisition, Weber Marking Systems France is further expanding its print-apply systems division.
