Markoprint integra Quadro²

ZTV HP is a cost-effective ink supply system for Markoprint inkjet printers using fast-drying or solvent-based HP Class inks. For coding applications with high ink consumption, the intelligent system enables uninterrupted printing. The large ink tank prevents overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) from being negatively impacted by frequent cartridge changes. It holds 10 times the amount of ink as a single cartridge and can supply up to four cartridges simultaneously. Thanks to lower ink prices, the system pays for itself quickly. Cartridges report their ink level to the ink system in real time and are automatically refilled during printing. The fill-level sensor integrated into the cartridges prevents overfilling. Because the system is pressure-controlled, the bulk system can be installed above, beside, or below the printheads. The height of the system does not matter; an additional regulator is not required.

The NonStopPrinting printhead increases system availability and reduces downtime through uninterrupted printing during ongoing production. Two printheads operate alternately, controlled by an intelligent algorithm that ensures continuous cartridge readiness. While one cartridge is being replaced or cleaned, the second automatically takes over all print jobs—no system stoppage is required. By alternately emptying both cartridges, the range until the next replacement is doubled. Two-color printing with a print height of up to 25 mm is also possible. Using water-based and solvent-based HP and LX Class inks, logos and warning symbols can be applied quickly and contact-free to absorbent and non-absorbent outer packaging.

With IP65 protection and print heights of up to 25 mm, the Markoprint integra Ultimate handles demanding marking tasks with ease. The patented printhead with HP cartridge technology cleans itself automatically during operation and seals when idle. The nozzle plate is cleaned every time it is opened and closed, ensuring the printer is immediately ready for use after breaks. Depending on the ink, the open time exceeds 72 hours. The closed housing reliably protects the printhead and cartridge and is ideal for dusty or humid environments. The integra Ultimate prints text, 1D and 2D codes, as well as graphics in high resolution and is also suitable for UV inks on smooth surfaces.

The self-sealing printhead for HP Class ink cartridges ensures clean print results even after longer idle periods. By automatically closing when production pauses, it prevents dust ingress and ink drying. As soon as a photoelectric sensor detects the line starting up again, it moves the cartridge back into the print position and continues printing at high quality. Thanks to its special design, our Shutter printhead is optimized for pharmaceutical installations.
