Label design project
The label starts from a need. Whether it is for identification, marking or simply marketing, there comes a time when you need a label. After identifying this need, a contact is made with our sales team.
Two orientations are possible:
- You already have the necessary elements for the elaboration of the label, the salesman then sends you a quotation
- You wish to start from 0. Our sales representative will discuss with you in order to guide you to the most suitable project. Depending on the project, samples, material tests can be done on site with our commercial/technical team.
You have now decided on your project with your sales representative. In parallel, you have validated the technical aspects internally. We have also checked the feasibility of the labels with our production. Your order is then sent and received by our sales team. Your labels are ready to be produced.
Label manufacturing
The label manufacturing is now in the hands of our production team.
Two label manufacturing directions are possible:
- The label is already manufactured in our production unit. We therefore have the exact dimensions. We don’t need to order plates because we have the essential elements for the manufacturing. Production can begin.
- The label is new, our production needs to order a plate. The latter can have an average of one week of delay. It’s important to consider this in the global duration of the manufacturing.
Label production
Our operator takes the material that the logistician has previously given him. The roll of material can go up to 300 kg with an average of 240 kg per roll.
The operator then calibrates the machine, presses the tool and inserts the material in order to start manufacturing.
The machine is now operational and the labels are ready to be produced. Depending on the quantities, this can take several hours to several days. The label is now finished.
Label manufacturing, what kind of labels do we make?
We insist on meeting your needs. That’s why we can make you pre-printed or blank labels in thermal, vellum or more textured. The choice of the material is related to your need and what will be advised to you after meeting with the sales representative. The label is totally customizable as much on the form as on the background (presence of color).
You can also agree on the strength of the adhesive. The most popular ones are still “permanent“, “removable” and a more “reinforced” adhesive. This will depend on the conditions under which the label will be stuck as well as its support.
It is important to note that we have supplied a large number of pharmaceutical laboratories with tamper evident labels, available in several diameters. These security labels extend to many sectors: electronics, food industry…
We therefore adapt to each market and to new requirements. The market of tomorrow will provide more and more labels made of bio-degradable and compostable materials, we will be able to meet this demand.
